We are the lead factory authorized service company for Inglis, Admiral, Whirlpool, Roper, Kitchen Aid, Amana, Jen-Air, Maytag, Magic Chef, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Westinghouse and Ikea. We also work on GE, Moffat, Samsung, AND if you are not sure please don't hesitate to call us. Theory is theory, advice is free. We do our best to help customers even if it's something we don't work on so please call and we can help you figure out the best course of action.
An appliance family since 1968. Zig started at the Inglis factory in 1968 on the production line, it only took a year before someone recognized his skill set for the repair side of the industry. Zig progressed quickly and within a few years became the head technician of the Barrie branch of what became Whirlpool. In 1985 some changes in the industry lead to the independent service company representing the manufacturer, this included the newly formed Zig's Appliance Service. As the lead service company for Whirlpool (we still are) it didn't take long for other companies to ask us to represent them including Maytag and Frigidaire. We are one of the longest running independent service companies for all of these manufacturers and still work with them to this day.
As time went on Zig's son Matt finally made his way into the industry. That apple doesn't fall far from the tree and Matt again progressed quickly. He has been running the business now for over 15 years staying fully trained and update with the newest appliance technology but yet sticks to the old roots of business ethics his Father started so many years ago. HONESTY DOES PAY. This has been our company moto from day one. We treat our customers the old fashion way, with respect and trust.
